Expert Search Engine Optimization Services

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is an ongoing process of keyword research, competitor research, site analysis, submission, monitoring, competition ranking analysis and reporting. Our Search Engine Optimization process takes considerable time and human resources to do it correctly. When done correctly SEO will make your site more appealing to the search engines. In turn it will improve the quality and the amount of traffic to a website from search engines via natural or organic search results for keyword phrases you are targeting. Normally the higher a site is presented in the organic search results the more searchers will visit that site.

White Hat SEO Services - No Smoke and Mirrors

Our company practices 100% legal, ethical, white hat Search Engine Optimization services, website development and Internet marketing techniques. We strive to achieve measurable and sustainable results for our clients by using extensive ongoing analysis, time tested and impartial optimization methods, analytical research and years of “hands on” experience. We do everything in our power to eliminate the guesswork that a lot of other companies base their projects around.

Keyword Research and Analysis

We begin by working with our clients to develop an initial keyword list. This is the list of keyword phrases that best describes their company, products and/or services. Then we use several different keyword suggestion tools to validate and expand upon those initial keyword phrases. We repeat the process every time we find new keyword phrases to make sure we aren’t wasting time on keyword phrases that do not get searched. As we identify keyword phrases that will be beneficial to target, we add them to the master list. As you can imagine, this can become a relatively tedious process.

Top Ranked Sites and Competition Ranking Analysis

Once the main keyword phrases are chosen for a search engine optimization project, we begin a process of searching the major search engines to identify the top ranked sites for the major keyword phrases. Visiting and analyzing the top ranked sites allows us to find any potentially missed keyword phrases and determine what is earning them their search engine rankings.

Keyword Density Analysis

Generally we start by running Keyword Density Analysis (KDA) Reports on those top ranked sites. The objective of this initial KDA report is to identify how your competitors are utilizing those keyword phrases, as well as, which areas on your site needs additional (keyword rich) content and focused search engine optimization efforts. We research and analyze top ranked web sites in each of the major search engines by keyword, including the mean for:

  • The total number of words and characters in the <Title>
  • The keyword frequency (how many times particular keywords appear)
  • The keyword density (percentage it appears to all the words used in the <Title>)
  • The keyword distribution (where is the keyword used – beginning, middle, end)
All of the Search Engines use different algorithms to populate their results pages . That is exactly why we conduct all of the research. This knowledge is crucial to building a successful foundation for any search engine optimization campaign.

In addition to identifying averages, we also look at the statistical variations for each of the page elements to eliminate the guess work. Our comprehensive research and analysis give us an initial starting point for constructing the <Title> on that web page.

For example, if the research and analysis tells us that the search engines value web sites that have a <Title> length of 10 words, contain 112 characters, integrates 2 different keywords, and distributes the keywords equally – we begin writing a <Title> tag with similar characteristics. Once we are finished with the <Title>, we apply this same process of researching, analyzing, and then optimizing for the search engines to all of the other web page elements.

As you can tell, our Search Engine Optimization services are very comprehensive. They usually involves hours of research and analysis each and every month. Our SEO service is an extremely iterative process, performed web page after web page, and each time we perform an optimization cycle we work hard to improve our process.

Here is a sample screen shot from a portion of our keyword density analysis report:

This screen shot shows how extremely detailed our keyword density reports are. They are packed with information that will help us optimize your site. This particular screenshot shows densities for single keywords. On the same report we will be able to analyze 2, 3, 4, etc. keyword phrases too! This level of detail our KDA report provides is priceless to any Search Engine Optimization campaign.

Application of Search Engine Optimization Edits & Techniques

Once the keywords have been approved, and the initial analysis, the baseline ranking reports and task plan have been completed, we can begin editing the actual site’s source code.

Using the results from preliminary research and reports, we can identify areas where the site needs to develop additional searchable content (text) to support the selected keywords. With our “spam-free” and time-tested methods, we can identify the page characteristics that the search engines value for the researched keyword phrases.

With the information from our research in hand we begin optimizing each page on your site. Each page basically becomes a theme-based mini-SEO project and gets managed independently of the other pages. One page may be in an edit stage, while another may be waiting to be “spidered” by a search engine. A page is edited by comparing the characteristics of the page to those of the top-10 sites using our multi-page Keyword Density Analyzer (KDA) to set the target, and a single-page KDA to profile the page we are editing. Adjusting density, frequency, and distribution of the keywords on the page is the cornerstone for editing the page.

Each keyword has different competition, so each effort to rank a page for a particular keyword is a separate sub-project. In order to manage these sub-projects, and to comply with the desire of the search engines to find complementary and research-centric phrases, we will group related keyword phrases at the page level.

As a result, a forty-keyword search engine optimization project could require optimizing approximately twenty pages averaging 2 targeted keywords per page.
